Double Layer Prepacked Sand Control Water Well Screen which is also called sand control well screens, consist of base pipe, all-welded wedge wire screen and support rod, is used in the oil well, gas well and water wells.The base pipes screen jackets is constitute of API standard base pipes and the Johnson type well screens as the jackets wrapped outside of the base pipes. The Double layer water well screen is recommended when high collapse resistance is required and when the screens' length generates a high longitudinal constraint. The pipe strength allows smaller wrap wires to be used, yielding greater open area. It can be manufactured using stainless steel grades or API 5CT carbon steel casing. OASIS uses prime pipe, thoroughly cleaned and de-burred after perforating.
