WoW Dragonflight: All Dragon Glyph Locations

Oct 22, 2023

In order to upgrade the new dragon flying in World of Warcraft's Dragonflight, players will need to collect as many dragon glyphs as they can find.

The newest expansion for World of Warcraft, called Dragonflight, adds a whole new location, a new race, and a new class. Players dropping into the new realm might be wondering just where all its secrets are. Players can find a pile of NPCs, rare elites, and a bunch of treasures. One of the collectibles that can be found in this new location are the Dragon Glyphs. These items are extremely important for moving around and leveling quickly as each glyph is used to upgrade Dragonflight's new mount-like dragon riding system.

With the release of the new expansion, World of Warcraft players venturing into Dragonflight's Dragon Isles will be allowed to ride a big dragon around. It's limited to just this location, but it is both upgradable and customizable. Players can choose the look of their dragon mounts with 50 customizations, and they can upgrade things like the cooldown timer and speed of their flights with dragon glyphs.

There are a grand total of 48 dragon glyphs to be found around World of Warcraft's Dragonflight islands, and players will want to find every single one to upgrade their scaled ride as soon as possible. Thankfully, these items and upgrades are account-wide, so players only have to seek out all these collectibles one time to upgrade all their character's flying skill trees. One of the best ways to make sure players can find all the glyphs is to download one of the many addons for treasure hunting or specifically for the glyphs. But here are all the locations, in case players are missing just a few and don't want to bother looking for an addon.

In order to unlock the dragonriding skills, players will need to trade these dragon glyphs to an NPC located in Valdrakken; her name is Lithragosa, and she is located here:

The Waking Shores is one of the four new World of Warcraft's unique Dragon Isle locations. There are a total of 12 of these glyphs to be found here.

Ohn'ahran Plains is the second location in the Forbidden Reach of the Dragonflight expansion that players will find themselves in when leveling to 70 in World of Warcraft Retail. This pretty plain is the home to a whole society of Maruuk Centaurs and to 12 more dragon glyphs.

Home of icy weather and the blue dragonflight, the Azure Span is the second to last of the questing zones where players will hit level 70 in the now-live Dragonflight expansion. In it, players will find snow, ice, Tuskarr, Gnolls, and Furbolgs. This location is also home to yet another 12 glyphs.

Thaldraszus is the seat of dragon power; dragons have roosted in these mountains for time immemorial. This is also the location of the new hub city of Valdrakken. Players can find even more dragon glyphs scattered around these mountains where they will finish leveling to 70 in World of Warcraft Retail.

World of Warcraft : Dragonflight is now available for Mac and for PC.
