Jennifer Lawrence has had a remarkable journey in Hollywood. She has featured in award-winning movies and won the Academy Award for Best Actress. Some of her popular roles include Katniss in The Hunger Games and Mystique in the X-Men franchise. And it was while starring in the latter that she sparked dating rumors with her co-star and Beast actor Nicholas Hoult. While their on-screen characters did share some romantic moments, it was not something the future X-Men movies focused on.

But things were not the same behind the camera, as Lawrence and Hoult started falling for each other. However, breakup rumors began to surround the couple around 2013, and they finally called it quits in August 2014. And it was really hard on the Joy star, as she shared that she felt lost after her split from The Menu actor.

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult took a brief break from their relationship in 2013 before getting back together for X-Men: Days of Future Past. And they officially called it quits in 2014, followed by the film's release. The split was not easy for her, as she shared during a 2015 interview that she felt lost after her split from the Skins actor.

It was also around the same time she concluded one of the most successful franchises of her career, The Hunger Games, and losing it and her partner all at once was too much for her. She told the American broadcaster, Diane Sawyer.

"I was also in a relationship with somebody for five years, and we broke up around the same time I wrapped the movies. Being 24 was this whole year of, ‘Who am I without these movies? Who am I without this man?'"

Although she did not mention any specific names, things added up to her breakup with Hoult, leading many to assume that the X-Men star was talking about Hoult indeed. Lawrence was so heartbroken that she was even losing hope for a stable relationship and having a family in the future.

During her interview with Diana Sawyer, Jennifer Lawrence shared that she lost all hope after her breakup. She shared that she started believing that she would never get married. The Serena star said, "I don't know if I ever will get married. I’m okay with that,"

She shared that she wanted to be a mother but was not sure about getting married. Lawrence did find love after meeting her soulmate later in 2018. She met the art gallery director, Cooke Maroney, in 2018, and the two hit it off immediately.

They were spotted together on several occasions, were engaged by early February 2019, and tied the knot in October of the same year. The couple welcomed their first child, Cy, in 2022, and Lawrence has shared that motherhood has stretched her heart.
