Sonic Frontiers: Where to Find All Sound Memories
Sonic Frontiers' first DLC update adds a Juke Box of classic Sonic music with extra songs to find throughout the Starfall Islands.
When it was announced that the first DLC update for Sonic Frontiers would add a feature called the "Juke Box," some fans thought it would just be a simple Sound Test, even though the Digital Deluxe of the game already came with a mini soundtrack. However, what fans got was something far more charming that may help Sonic fans who wish the latest game was a bit less drab adjust to the vibe of the Starfall Islands.
The Juke Box feature in Sonic Frontiers deals with music from all across the blue hedgehog's history, from "Angel Island" from Sonic 3, "Live and Learn" from Sonic Adventure 2, all the way to the "Re-colors" remix of "Reach For the Stars" from Sonic Colors: Ultimate. Thirteen songs are given to the player the instant they start the game after the Sights, Sounds, and Speed DLC, but forty more are scattered around all five of the Starfall Islands. For those aiming to complete their music collection, this guide will go over all the Sound Memories' locations.

1 - Windmill Isle - Day - Before fans reach the second portal, there should be a slope that leads to enemies that sit on the curve of a cliff side. Near that is a rail that loops around. Above that rail is a set of pink rings that will eventually throw Sonic into the air toward this hard-to-reach cliff to the right. They should be thrown into the Sound Memory sitting on the edge.
2 - Planet Wisp - This Sound Memory can be found at the end of the bridge that forms after players complete the base tutorial in Kronos Island.
3 - Kingdom Valley - To the west side of Kronos Island, in the very middle, is a forest. Fans should follow the edge of this forest until they encounter a Ninja guardian. Either take the guardian out or keep an eye towards the right, as this Sound Memory will glisten between the trees in this area.
4 - Ocean Palace - Found next to a waterfall in the small creek below the metal bridges. If Sonic Frontiers players run in the crevice the creek is in, they should eventually find this Sound Memory.
5 - Fist Bump - Found at the very top of the tower east of Kronos Island. Fans will need to climb the tallest structure on the tower's roof to grab it.
6 - Sky Sanctuary (Sonic Generations Act 2 Remix) - If players have already managed to reach the City Escape portal, then they'll know how to get this Sound Memory. All they need to do is make the first rail by interacting with the three small stick lights that will make its shape.

7 - Wonder World (Sonic Lost World's main theme) - Found at the bottom of the waterfall that leads up to Giganto's boss battle.
8 - Stardust Speedway (Sonic Mania Act 2 Remix) - This Sound Memory sits atop a lone pillar on the far west side of Kronos Island. If fans have difficulty jumping towards it, they should aim for the small edge that juts out on the right-hand side for leverage.
1 - Dusty Desert - Nearby, where players spawn in on Ares Island, they'll find a selection of circular ruins. In one of these rings is a Sound Memory.
2 - Arid Sands - Day - New players may find this Sound Memory as they play. Near Island Challenge M-054, there will be a spring that takes Sonic high up to the top of a small mountain. This is where this orange music note can be found.
3 - This is Our World - Phase 2 (Sonic Forces' map screen music) - By the M-042 puzzle, there will be a small awning with an underground passage underneath. Fans should go through this passage and head to the path on the left. This Sound Memory will be waiting there for them. Players can also fast-travel to the Fishing Portal that sits up above this entrance to the underground ruins, as it sits just before the pulley to go to it.
4 - Mushroom Hill - Next to M-040 and its pathway to race on is a second rough pathway alongside it. In the middle of this pathway, this Sound Memory will be found. Fans can use Wyvern's boss area as a shortcut to this side of the island.
5 - Desert Ruins - Zone 1 - Beyond the oasis that players will need to drain on Ares Island, there will be a whole other area to explore. Just to the southeast of the oasis will be another abandoned structure of arches. This Sound Memory will be sitting in the middle of the second arch.
6 - Savannah Citadel - Day - At the very edge of Ares Island, to the west of the communication tower, is one of Eggman's ships. This Sound Memory can be found underneath it.
7 - Dry Lagoon - To the north of the drained oasis are abandoned pillars. To the west of that is an area with a few large rocks, and atop one of these rocks will be this Sound Memory.
8 - Theme of Sonic Colors - Behind M-037, there's a big mountainous area with a small path to the left. This will lead to this Sound Memory.

1 - Red Mountain - Found to a small run to the right of the player when they spawn in on top of a pile of rocks.
2 - Sky Road - Zone 2 - On the right side of the abandoned temple is a small, half-circle metal platform where this song can be found.
3 - The World Adventure (Sonic Unleashed's orchestral theme) - This Sound Memory is on a far-off island that takes some work to get to, even if the map is already cleared. To find the rail system that leads to it outside the Ancient Rails, players need to go to Chaos Island's tundra peak. To the right of the M-075 Island Challenge is some ice that players will need to use the Drop Dash to get passed.
From there, players should follow the path to the right to reach a triangular platform. Stand on the platform and turn the camera downwards to find the arch with the rail. Once on the island, the Sound Memory is to the right, on top of some hexagonal crystals.
4 - Aqua Road - Found in the green sulfur pit on the left side of the volcano, atop a large stalagmite in the center.
5 - Asteroid Coaster (Sonic Colors: Ultimate Remix) - Fans need to track down two rail systems to get a Sound Memory on a small island. The first rail system can be found to the northwest of the sulfur pit; just after the lava stream, players should turn left and aim for the island's coast. The second rail system can be found in the divot on the first island. The Sound Memory is on the top of the hill in the middle of the second island players reach.
6 - Live and Learn - Beyond the icy peak, there is a lava pit north of the map. On one of the buttes that can be seen once players approach is a Sound Memory. To the left of the rocky surface, beyond the lava stream, is a platform with a spring. Players should jump on that, time their jumps to hit the rings, do a few tricks for extra air on the last thing, and then boost to reach the top to grab this iconic song from Sonic Adventure 2.
7 - Lava Reef (Sonic Mania Act 1 Remix) - Once players leave the lava pit, they should head to the right along the coast to find an arch for a rail system. This will take them to yet another island with a Sound Memory. Once on this island, the note is to the right at the end of the barrel of the artillery cannon.
8 - Speed Highway (Sonic Generations Act 2 Remix) - While the note floating in the air may concern players when looking at the map, this Sound Memory can easily be found in the subterranean pathway Sonic and Tails open up during the story. Once fans head underground, it can be found in the rotunda nearby.
1 - Open Your Heart - Once again, fans need to climb a ruined tower for a Sound Memory, just like on Kronos. This tower can be found to the left of the platform players begin the island on.
2 - Green Forest - South of the second tower lock players will reach on Rhea, inside a small roofed structure.
3 - Frog Forest - North of the same tower is a small, ruined area of old houses. This song can be found in the middle of the area.

4 - Misty Lake - To the right of the residential area is a small opening between two cliffs. If players go through that, they'll find an area surrounded by water, with this Sound Memory sitting at the front of a building's ruins.
5 - Flying Battery (Sonic Mania Act 1 Remix) - To the southeast of the sinkhole with a tower inside it in the middle of a clearing.
6 - Emerald Coast Act 1 - At the northeastern part of the island is a small crevice where this Sound Memory is hiding away.
7 - His World (E3 trailer version) - Found in the center of the submerged ancient relics on the far eastern side of the island. It may seem hard to get to, but with careful platforming, players can make their way across without drowning.
8 -Stardust Speedway (US version) - From the ancient relics, head left to the farthest cliff side of Rhea Island. Amidst a circle of pillars, this Sound Memory will be waiting.
1 - Palmtree Panic - Southwest of the Elder Koco, at the start of the island, is a small clearing where this Sound Memory waits atop a small hill.
2 - Knight of the Wind - At the very top of the Ouranos Island temple.
3 - Sky Sanctuary - Head southwest of the island until Sonic comes across a few arches. Follow these arches until it leads to some old ruined houses. Follow the path from these arches and houses until you come across a house at the end, which this Sound Memory will be waiting on the steps.
4 - His World (Results screen version) - Behind the residential area is a large, hollowed-out structure with crystals underneath. Either go around it or break through the Caterpillar guardian waiting inside to reach the forest on the other side to grab this song inside of it.
5 - It Doesn't Matter - On the way to the yellow Chaos Emerald's vault, there is a broken bridge that can be cleared with some jumps. This Sound Memory sits in the middle.
6 - City Escape - To the northeast of the temple's flower field. Keep running until Sonic reaches a cliff side, and fall off of it. The song will be waiting among pillars at the right-side end of the strip of land below.
7 - Rooftop Run (Sonic Generations Act 2 Remix) - After crossing the bridge Sage and Sonic make during the story, this song will be waiting on the cliff below on the right-hand side.
8 - Seven Rings in Hand - At the northeast tip of Ouranos Island, there are multiple bits of land on one cliff side. On the very bottom, near the water, is where this last Sound Memory sits.
Sonic Frontiers is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
